A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE JEPHTHAH COMPREHENSIVE SECONDARY SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (JOSA)

The Jephthah Old Students’ Alumni Association (JOSA) was established in 1999 to further the social, academic, professional or humanitarian interests of members. Its goal is to connect alumni to the school and to each other through reunions etc, to provide services to members and to support the school’s mission of teaching, research and service. The Alumni Association will encourage graduates to remain a part of the JCSS family. Joining the Alumni Association is the best way to stay in touch.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

To promote and further the best interests of JCSS; to promote the goodwill amongst past students and staff of the school, people associated with the school and friends of the school; to inform members about activities at the school and matters which promote mutual goodwill; to record the activities of alumni and preserve the history of the school; to further develop leadership skills of current students; to develop pride for JCSS in its students.
